Pacific Beach has a diverse landscape with a mix of surf shops, ocean view hotels, restaurants and bars making it one of the more popular beaches in San Diego for locals and visitors. In addition to the high number of tourists that come visit the area, there is also a high number of homeless. In an area that mostly caters to service industry businesses, how does the presence of homeless people affect tourism-related businesses? Kurt Marchetta, who works at a bike and surf rental shop, weighs in on the impact.
